You may have seen this photo in my random photo generator at the top of my website. I love it. I found it on a stock photo site and had to have it. Unfortunately, I don’t know where it was taken or who took it, but I do know it was royalty-free. That being said I am eager to know what other people think of this photo.
If I was walking in a downtown district and saw this in a store window I think I would go in. Even if I didn’t need to buy anything in the store I would probably go in just to make a comment to the manager how awesome I thought it was. What a great way to bring in traffic! Either by direct passerbys or rubber-neckers talking about it on the subway. What a great way to promote breastfeeding! What a great way to promote public breastfeeding! And did you notice the mannequin is breastfeeding from above her shirt? I think most of nurse from below (see my post “From Above As Below?”). Now there’s mama who isn’t afraid to show some skin!
This photo makes me laugh or smile everytime I see it.
If anyone out there has similar breastfeeding promotion photos or breastfeeding ads that you can send my way, please do! I would love to be able to share and discuss them with my readers.
What’s your reaction? Share your thoughts or opinion by leaving a comment. They’re always appreciated!

Found you through the Follow Me. It makes me miss nursing. My son stopped when he was only 12 months old. He was in the hospital while we were traveling and not allowed to eat anything. I could have asked to borrow a pump there (since mine was back at our house), but I figured it was a good stopping time. For as much frustration as it was the first few months, it breaks my heart not to now.
I love this picture! I’m sure I would be pointing it out if I came across this window in real life!
What a great photo. I love the cute dress, the cloth diaper and the fact that it’s a toddler nursing. It’s definitely an attention getter and a way to advertise what the store seems to be all about
