I was quite thrilled to have found a message in my inbox yesterday informing me that I had just been given an award for showing great attitude or gratitude. Wow! I am touched and grateful to Annie from Annie Are You Okay? for passing this along to me for my recent post Think. Act. Breastfeed. Support another breastfeeding mom and check out Annie’s fun blog.
This award couldn’t have come along at a better time and the reason is two-fold. The first is that Hannah Rosin’s recent article in the Atlantic Review entitled “The Case Against Breastfeeding,” has really pissed me off. I haven’t even begun to think about how to respond and look forward to reading other blogger’s responses to it over the next week or so. For a couple of already written responses (you girls are fast!) check out Blacktating and Adventures in [Crunchy] Parenthood.
The second reason is that the flu has made me its latest victim. (Maybe this is also why I can’t get up the gusto to blog my own response). So while my body tries to recover both physically and mentally, this sweet award has at least lifted my spitirts.
As there are rules that go along with this award, being that I have to nominate 10 other bloggers who also show great attitude or gratitude, I am happy to say I did not take my responsibility lightly and am excited to share some love links to some great blogs.
