These bras aren't bad, but I found them very limited in the size range. Nursing I wear a 36gg or J depending on how the bra company does size ranges. There really isn't anything available in the US that works well at larger cup sizes unless you are also plus size -- that is back size 38 or 40 or larger and with more body fat. For that size range (plus size rather than simply large cup size) there are several goddess bras that are excellent, as is Anita in the 38H or I.

For the plus size -- and large cup size crowd, a professional fitting can really help. However, you have to be VERY VERY careful, as most places will fit you into a size that they carry. (so if you go to Nordstroms as a 36gg you will get fitted into a 38DDD cause that is the best they can do. Even if the bra really doesn't fit, which obviously it won't). There are a few places that carry the larger cup sizes, most of which specifically advertise that they carry European bras. Its worth a phone call. Otherwise, just go with a tape measure and email or call one of the bra shops in the UK. My favorites are bravissimo.com and brastop.com, traditionallingergie.com and a few others. They can easily be found with a google search, though you will need to specify 'uk'.

For the large-cup size gals like me, good bets are Emily (formerly EmilyB) which carries back sizes 28-40 cup sizes B - K (British - dd-e-f-ff-g-gg, ...), Freya (30-38 or so, up through HH), Royce (up through K), Emma Jane (through H), Mothercare (J in the EU size chart - d, dd, e, f,g,...).

For those that like premium bras, Fayreform is gorgeous though expensive. Their range is up to K.

Those that enjoy sexy lingerie should check out the HotMilk line. Whew! Softcup as recommended by the UK lactation group, but HOT! Available up to a G. (small cup sizes - up to D are available from Condessa, Amoralia and a few others).

For sleep bras, or those that need/want less support - or a sports type, Decent Exposures has comfy bras up to a M or N cup, in a sports style, They will make a nursing strap. Yes! Breastfeeding has styles that are similar to the Bravado original, but costing only about $20. They will also custom make larger cup sizes (!!!!)

If you want more info feel free to respond, I have set the notification email. Please note that I do NOT work for any bra companies and receive no pay or anything for putting up the companies or recommending the bras. I am only putting in my opinion, and have learned most of this through trial and error. I have seen too many women give up breastfeeding due to mastitis or such that is due to wearing the wrong size bra, so I try to help when I can. I have been appalled at the number of LLL consultants and other breastfeeding consultants that are not aware that bras are available in larger cup sizes, so started posting when I see an article on bras!

Cheers!

I like the Bravado Original Bra. It's cotton so it's easy to wash. But what I like best is that I can pull the flaps down and then tuck in my horns when I'm pumping at work. Voila, hands free pumping without having to zip up a hands-free bustier!
