I was so glad my toddler didn't ask to nurse when we visited my Grandma yesterday. That was the last thing I wanted to deal with (my Grandma's reaction). I had a little bit of trying time this holiday season with my in-laws thinking that it was ridiculous that I was nursing my 17 month old so much or at all! Most people only nurse until 6 months you know!!!!!!!!!! Or so they tell me. When we got home from 5 days with inlaws my 3 year old said I want to nurse (gogo). He begged me. I find it so hard sometimes. And because of you and LLL and my friends I can keep trying to parent the best way I know how. Thank you and here's to milkies better than chocolate and ice cream! What a great photo too. I feel you on the being tired front - though mine is so much younger. Em was sleeping through the night pretty consistently for awhile, and then stopped... and now I've got it in my head that I've got to try to do EC overnight... which is going great, but makes what sounds like a decadent 10 hours in bed really not that much sleep...
