Mouth meets gravel.
Oh, how it hurts.
“Help me mama!”
“I have a fat lip!”
Milkies make it all better.

Aw, poor kiddo! I hope she’s doing better.
I must admit, losing that ready-made, easy fix to everything is a big reason that I put off weaning. It really does make life that much harder when you can’t just nurse away the injuries.

Youch!!
Can’t put Bandaids on lips, but you sure can nurse a sore mouth.
Hope the swelling is going down.
She actually skinned it again, poor thing. In addition to nursing a lot lanolin is helping a great deal too! But yes, the swelling is going down.
Poor little thing! That’s the fattest lip I’ve ever seen!
