Sponsor Auditions on Breastfeeding Moms Unite!

I’ve been accepting advertising for awhile now but I haven’t been actively pursuing or advertising the fact. Until now.

Maybe it was the recent news that I’m in Technorati’s Top 10 Lifestyle Family Blogs. Number 2 to be exact. Not that I’m boasting or anything. I’m just proud.

Maybe it’s the fact that I’m finally happy with my stats.

Maybe it’s because after over a year of blogging I want to get serious!

Maybe it’s because I think I’m worth it.

I’m no MckMama from My Charming Kids who receives nearly 3 million hits a month, but I have worth too. Yes, I do!

And Breastfeeding Moms Unite! has something else that not all blogs have: purpose and intention. Its bloggy dream is to build  breastfeeding revolution! Social acceptance of breastfeeding is predicated on ensuring that all mothers are properly supported and educated about breastfeeding. Then, mothers have to feel comfortable enough about themselves and what they know to feed their children in front of other people. Yes, I believe cultural change depends on seeing breastfeeding in public, normalizing the practice of breastfeeding toddlers (even older children), and publicly speaking openly and positively about breastfeeding. The idea of holding a sponsor audition came to me from reading Marvelous Kiddo. So for the month of April I am opening up 10 spaces on my blog for those of you who want to advertise your business and get some free traffic. In order to establish who gets these spots I am going to hold auditions!
