This makes me miss nursing! I nursed for my third son’s first year of life and it was beautiful. These photos are captivating!
That looks so peaceful!
Those are amazing photos and an even more amazing and strong mama for being able to hold her like that. I would have to wear B if I were going to nurse standing up.

Hey all ~ that is me and my littlest of three.
The photos were taken last fall. Both on the shore of Lake Nipissing: “Northern” Ontario. The lake is a few blocks from our house. We had all gone down on our bikes to meet up with my friend Liz who is a photographer. The second photo was taken right at the end of the photo shoot. We were getting ready to go and little was a bit fussed. I was bending down to nurse her on the go and realized she needed a bit more than a speedy sip ~ so I hoisted her up on my leg. It made me laugh as I watched the sun go down, the air was cool and Liz started snapping photos of us. These are my favorite as they will always be a memory of that moment…one where you end up “drinking” in what is around you and it turns out that what your child needs is just what you need to. In this case…. a good laugh, a look at the sunset and some lovely photos from my friend. I love nursing my toddlers ~ in return I am gifted so much.
And yes… I can hoist quite a bit with these pipes of mine
It’s funny ~ my kids never seem heavy to me when I am nursing…only if I have to carry them in the grocery store!

Oh my goodness! I feel horrible. I just realized that I didn’t visit your WW post last week.
I’m so sorry about that! These photos are great. There’s nothing that compares to the bond between a mother and her child. That bond is even more evident in the breastfeeding relationship. Absolutely gorgeous photos!
