I love photos that show the passage of time. These ones are great. I would go a step further and say that even if your child isn’t nursing, they’re still your baby.

I don’t nurse my almost 4 year old any more, but she is still my baby, even though I have a 6 moth old. Weird how they are always your baby.

I guess even when mothers are no longer nursing their children, the children will always be like ‘babies’ in the mothers’ eyes.

So sweet
And random but I read yesterday a new study found a 94% decreased risk of breastfeeding in mamas who breastfed more than 36 months…so hurray for you! Lol. Not that that is even close to the only good reason to nurse a toddler, but it is cool!

May I ask where you read the study? I assume that you mean reduced risk of breast cancer.
Thanks!

So true. We only nursed until 18 months, but the moment we snuggled up like that, she was my itty bitty girl.
What beautiful photos! My biggest regret with my son is that I didn’t take more photos of us nursing!

I am a huge advocate for breastfeeding! Done that with all three boys :O) Happy WW and thanks for linking up!
That brought tears to my eyes. My baby is 23 months old and she does not nurse anymore but I so wish she did. And she is still my baby anyway. But I am so jealous of these pictures.

Wow! Good for you breastfeeding a toddler for so long. I know from watching my wife how much it can take out of you. From a health perspective there is nothing like natural milk for children.
