Hi everyone. I’ve gone away for a few days for some “me time,” so there’s no recipe for you today. But please do link up so others can find you and I’ll come and visit when I return.
Thanks and have a great weekend.
Melodie
Welcome to Vegetarian Foodie Fridays! Where we’re not just Meatless on Mondays, but all week through! Hi! My name is Melodie and I’m a long time vegetarian who’s into real food, holistic nutrition, and healthy living but suffers from a sweet tooth! (I love homemade baked goods and ice cream). To learn more about why I became a vegetarian or why I choose to raise my children vegetarian please click on my links.
Carnival Guidelines
- You do not have to be a vegetarian/vegan or have a vegetarian/vegan blog to participate.
- Your dish must be completely meat-free (no fish or seafood and no meat based broths, etc). Eggs and dairy are fine. Desserts and other baked goods are welcome as are vegetarian friendly food-related and health posts.
- Please link back to the carnival in your post.
- Please use your best carnival manners.
- Please try to visit others’ posts.
- Have fun!

Hey mel! Hope you had some good ME time! Its a short commodity, so GLAD you got yourself some! Please, pay no attention to the chunks of sausage in my picture! This is a Mark Bittman recipe for arugula pesto that was delicious, and I added some marinated mozzarella and I swear my husband threw on the sausage…ok, thats not true, but if you remove the sausage, its veggie friendly!

Hey Mel!!
I am totally new to the blogging world and am not very good at visuals and other things that beautify blogs like yours
I need some major advice from all the fellow bloggers who assemble here.
I am Sujatha Singh, a born vegetarian and have not known any other form of food or way of life
I have members in the family who find it very difficult to turn vegetarian even for health reasons so I know how it feels for them.
Please feel free to visit my food blog anytime and send me suggestions on how to make it better!
Will be trying out the Cabbage and beans Au Gratin tonight
Love
Sujatha
