My Recipe This Week
I am taking this week off from posting a recipe but please check out the recipes below made by some fantastic fellow bloggers.
It was so hard to decide who to feature this week because there were so many recipes I wanted to make. However, it was a lean cooking week so I only ended up making one. I hope to make the others in the near future.
I will start with the recipe I actually made. Trina of the Beans shared a Lentil Taco recipe that we made for dinner tonight. I always do my taco/burrito filling recipes the same old way so trying something new and using lentils instead of my regular black or red bean fillings was lots of fun. My husband, who likes lentils but doesn’t love them, loved this dish. So did my friend who came for dinner and my two daughters. We will make this again. The chipotle sour cream sauce and cilantro coleslaw was awesome too.
US Masala shared a Thai Red Curry that I am dying to try. I love that she made her own red curry paste instead of buying one from the store. Head over to her blog to see how delicious it looks!
Riddlelove shared the above California Autumn Winter Salad that is probably the prettiest salad I have ever seen. I imagine the flavours and textures are out of this world. This is a must try.
